Annual Transport Training Registration
Price range: $0.00 through $80.00
Transport training covers the knowledge and skills required to drive the Ford Transit van (W1), Izuzu box truck (W2), and Ram pickup and trailer rig (W3/T1). You will learn how to hitch up, tow, and back up a trailer, serve as a ground spotter (directing someone who is backing up a vehicle), and drive a scout vehicle. Obtaining an endorsement in each vehicle requires successful completion of a maneuverability test in that vehicle.
When registering, please indicate which vehicle(s) you would like to learn how to drive in the “Additional Information / Order notes” section on the checkout page. Additionally, please indicate whether you have trailering experience. Most students without prior trailering experience require additional practice after transport training to obtain their trailering endorsement.
This training consists of online classes and in-person training. Links to the online segments will be provided before the in-person training.

Transport training is open to both WASART members and the general public (adults only, please).
