WASART Response to COVID-19

WASART Training

The WASART Training Committee has made the decision to not reschedule March’s Base & Operations Support Training.

The Training Committee is and always will be committed to your personal health and safety. With that in mind, we continue to monitor ongoing issues surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and remain in regular communication with Washington State Emergency Management.

With the current restrictions put in place by Governor Inslee and expectations of the outbreak to continue throughout the remainder of March and into April and possibly May, we’ve elected to simply cancel March’s training.

At this time, it is our intent to hold June 13th’s training but will continue to monitor the situation and keep you posted on the status as we move forward into the warmer months.

In addition, the previously scheduled Transport Training (April 11) and Emergency Animal Sheltering (May 2) have also been cancelled.

We’ll post any updates, including further cancellations and rescedulings here on wasart.org.
