COVID-19 Volunteer (WASART in Tacoma)

We are using this form to gather the first round of information for people who can, or may be able, to assist Washington State Animal Response Team (WASART) in the intake and care of dogs who need shelter while their owner is hospitalized due to the COVID-19 virus. The shelter will be in the general Tacoma, WA area.

Volunteers will be required to understand that WASART is in charge of every aspect of the dogs' care. The volunteers are credentialed state workers and have been trained in emergency management operations. As someone with animal experience, you will be assisting WASART -- https://wasart.org/

Not everyone is in a position to be on site, but you probably have other skills that could be useful. Great at organizing? Like checking in with volunteers? Let us know what you're good at and like to do.
